Really interested in trying that Dark Reign game. Surprised i had never heard of it till now.

Whoa what? When did they get Dark Reign? That game was ace. It picked through all the features of the other RTS's out on the market back then and just used the ones that worked well. So it was like an amalgamation of C+C, KKND, and Warcraft II all at once. I don't believe Starcraft was even out yet at the time although I could be wrong.

I own the sequel, which is terrible. I've always wanted to play the first game again. This is awesome.

For their time, they were pretty awesome, but I don't think the nostalgia value of these is likely to overcome the raw simulation and gameplay prowess of the Pro Pinball series for me. I can see this maybe being an impulse sale-price purchase at some point, though.

Today's new game is (http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/total_annihilation_kingdoms) Total Annihilation: Kingdoms. I haven't played it since it's meant to be quite a bit different to the original, is it any good?

Oh wow, I didn't know about that one! I've only played the original TA. This looks like it'd be great though, seeing as how I'm a sucker for medieval fantasy.

@Brian: I just noticed a nice long review of the game right on that page. (Or did you know that already and want another opinion?)
