I don't know, as I've never played it. I've wanted to check it out since I first saw the "making of" film packaged with KQ7, though. I bought it, so we'll see.

They are both rubbish in their own ways, but the first one isn't AS bad. They are from the worst era in gaming...the dreaded FMV games.
The sequel was like a bad episode of Garth Marenghi's Dark Places.

No. IMHO, they were horrible. And 'pretty good'? Sounds like an excuse for a mediocre game...
And one game doesn't excuse an entire genre.
