Since I just got a new screen (yay!), I'd want to calibrate it, so I'm looking for a good, easy-to-use calibration tool that will help me with the basics such as Brightness and Contrast. Are there any you can recommend?

I've used the (
http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/) Lagom test images for some basic setting adjustments. They were useful in the past for adjusting clock / phase on VGA outputs but they do also have brightness and contrast images that may do what you want.
