That's probably what it was, a rainwater sewer, but it was full of shit and logs and dead things, and things that crawled up our legs, so I just remember it as a sewer : )

Heh. I remember just water running between our toes! Back then ,when I did this, the population of the city I was in was only 150,000. No dead shit, nor crawling things... :)
