Does the Good Old Games version of Thief 2 included an Old Dark option or is it New dark only? I'd like to buy it for a friend, but I want to like sure the classic fan missions work with it.

My download section for Thief 1 only shows a New Dark version. Without knowing for sure, I'd guess that it's the same for Thief 2, but you can always ask on the (

There's no reason to want OldDark (all the FMs should work with NewDark), and many reasons not to want OldDark (such as it may be hard to get working right on the friend's presumably modern PC.)
Is there some specific FM that you know if which isn't supposed to work in NewDark?

Dumb question: when fan missions are updated to New Dark like Calendra's Cistern or A Thief's Holiday 2004, what is being updated?

There are some missions that have problems with NewDark (see (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=143759) this thread) but fixes are available for most of them and the benefits of NewDark outweigh the few niggles that are remaining.
