God, this game is an even better dungeon romp than the Underworld games. - by Brad Schoonmaker

Thar be dragons!:thumb:
That was tough, but I beat the beast. And the lair itself was way cool. The way up, I mean. Not to mention the entrance IT made.
I like the way you have to really think about what to do by your wits. The magic system is still largely unused for this run though, but the whole way it's done feels right to me. The way things can be combined or adjusted is great, too. Making potions and other usable items is nice. Selling just about everything found in the world makes getting rich easy.
Also like the cript level. One room early on had a surprise I've not seen even in Thief (may have been there, just didn't see it since that bone horde scared me shiteless so I skipped some). I opened the door to a tomb and wind slammed it shut and a voice screamed at me. I was shocked a bit.
The way areas are accessible from alternate routes is well done, IMO. That cript has ways in from every level I've seen. Other places do this, too which I like a lot. This game is truely amazing, people. Don't you agree? Some problems are there, but the fun is too.
Looking forword to the dwarven area. That's next for me.

Yes, this game is truly amazing despite the few bugs. Good luck with the dwarven area. I think you will find it completely different than the rest of the game!

I've just got my copy today, though I'm already impressed with the way that there are multiple ways of dealing with enemies. For instance:
-After freeing a goblin from his cell, I was able to lure a goblin lord into a cell and crush him under the portcullis as he tried to get out of it.
- Luring spiders into a fire I had lit earlier. Although I would have thought that they would have a path-repell thing set up with that.
