Global Warming is a good thing. We can wait for the ice caps to melt, then divert the water into Greenland, which is shaped like a bowl (sucks to be you, Greenland!). Then, once the water is dammed off, we can use pipelines to send the freshwater to places where it's needed.

My landscaping business has got very close to carbon zero this year (without resorting to offsets) - it's required reimagining pretty much every aspect of work, but it's happily resulted in more productivity, higher standards and cheaper prices; so I'm rather enthused all round.

Things have accelerated 3x since the 1990's from CO2 emissions, seas are rising and the ice cap is melting. Native Alaskans have to find a way to move their entire communites because the ground they walk on is melting.

That's the thing I hate about it, people saying "the planet is doomed" or "we must save the planet" when the planet doesn't give a fuck. The only thing there is to save is a load of land and the lives of a load of people living on said land/depending on it for food. If there is massive sea level rise, mankind will of course survive, just lots of it will die from that instead of living their medically assisted long lives. Which, of course, sucks for them/me/us but THE PLANET IS NOT AT RISK
