I don't know if I can "buy" this trend, in the 70s it was the global cooling, now the global warming, would you please make up your mind scientists?
In ancient Egypt there was a 20 years drought, it was pretty bad, according to the registry in a tomb, they even resorted to cannibalism of babies to survive.
And back then there wasn't any global warming trend.
Is just cyclic, once in a few centuries weather will change abruptly.
There is enough evidence that we can't generate enough CO2 to even affect the total quantity.
They just want us to worry about something we can't fix, see soon you will be forced to pay a tax for warming up the planet, hey they have to make money somehow and if people buy into this story, people who are willing to do so is gonna end up paying a tax.
Only the sun can change the weather significantly.

There are much easier ways to tax people both directly and indirectly than to come up with a massive conspiracy that requires the employment of most of the relevant scientists all over the globe.

How can you be certain that is not a cyclic recurrence on a longer time period.

This are the same scientists/archeologists and so on that deny reality.
By admission of the same archeologists when they entered the Egyptian tombs they blackened the decorations using torches.
So this legitimates the decoration showing an electric bulb they used to illuminate the tombs. (of course it a "lotus flower" ha ha)

Until you can measure a longer time period you will have the whole picture.
You cannot state something like global warming is happening on the base of what just 2 and something centuries.

People can track it by examining ice cores drilled in the Antarctic (among other things). There is a clear correlation between temperature and the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. And we know that the current amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere are caused by fossil fuels by examining the composition of the gases. On the other hand, there is no natural effect that we know of that can account for the current warming.

You forget that the sun can modify weather cyclically on a long scale.(the only force capable of doing so).
And you forget that previous than life on earth there were volcanic gases all over the place. Yet we can't go that far, we have to admit our knowledge is very limited in time.
Remember scientists modifying the big bang theory just to exclude the start from nothing, because if it was like that, they would have to admit the intervention of God in the big bang. And they now state the universe started out of something. (I find it very funny indeed)
Why should I believe scientists that change their minds more often than their underwear.
