I've found that if ya jump OVER the rail it hurts hell of alot, but if ya jump ONTO the rail and walk off it doesn't hurt abit but with the wall at Sadrith Mora, I still don't get why it hurts if ya jus walk off and I tried walkin off and dropin on to the steps and I took no damage...I'm completely stumped

I always found that the safest and quickest way to get from a higher lever to a lower was to jump onto the long curved supports and slide down to the straight bit at the bottom, and then jump onto the rail. I have done this all the time and do it with very little, if any, damage. But I have a fairly high Acrobatics skill, so it might not work if it is lower.

The jumping on certain angles is pretty common in games.
I know in TFC on epicenter near the APC there's a place you can stand on the building facing the APC. If you fall onto the slant of dirt? you won't take damage(very hand for concing up there, using your nail gun to take out SGs, then if the engy shot you with shotgun you don't take the 15-20 dmg of falling...)
It's funny how little glitches in single player are huge glitches in multiplayer.

I have the funniest glitch, I just hope that I can remeber it! Start a new character, then choose whatever race (I think, maybe it only works with a certain two races). Then when you are asked if you info is correct by that guy in the room change your race. The computer will try to combine the two characters and now you have a guy with a really fat body, two floating hands without arms, and an oversized floating head. If you can get this to work it is hilarious, especially when you attack a guard, because it is like obease Raymond vs. medieval combat, and his hand is so big it is inside the guard when he attacks. This may only work on xbox though. Try it!
Well, I know the soultrap glitch works on xbox version. Does anyone know how to become a God? I tried all kinds of stuff like reading the egg of time (or trying to interpret it) and asking people. That would be awesome if you could actually harnes the power of the heart of that God. Anyway, if you are getting attacked by dagoth while you try to figure this out, just lead him up the path close by and let him get stuck. He never even hits me when I do this

No way to become a God... Well... Not *really.* But if you naturally want to become a God, you first need a lot of gold. By training and you'll gain levels. There's been some people saying you don't get the bonuses, BUT... you can, it's just slower.
For example, if you want your strength to go up with a bonus of 5 then you train a strength-based skill ten times. Then go and train a personality based skill 10 times, and an endurance-based skill ten times. That way you get a +5 bonus to Strength, Personality and Endurance all in one level. But like I said, it requires a lot of money and a lot of time... But becoming a God isn't easy, right? If you do this all your stats should be 100, though you may get to the point where you can no longer gain levels by training. After that (if you're on XBox) find the Fury sword.
If you have the PC you can cheat, but where's the fun in that? There are no books to become a God and I'm not even sure if Dwemer Runes can be decoded (Daedric can. They have a font file of Daedric Text which I think you can use if you can find it.)

I'm not sure how to become a god naturally but there is a way to become a god if ya don't mind cheatin, jus get Mephala's skill(btw this only works on american version) by doin the webspinner quest and use the soultrap glitch with the forify skill spell and hey presto ya got skills goin way over 100 but as I said this is the only way I know with cheatin, there might be other ways without cheatin but I haven't found them yet or do what Ryushi said

Btw, they changed the reward for that in one of the patches, shadowj.
