I went down in the Dwemer ruins and got the satchel packs. Then i went to the wall that your supposed to blow up in Radacs forge. I click on the rocks and it says "Do you want to place the charge". it starts the countdown. When it hits zero.. yay nothing happens. However, if i stand near the rocks when the count hits zero, i still die from the blast "even though i see no animation for the blast" the rocks dont move either, so i'm kind of shafted. I have a lvl 68 rogue and i really dont wanna have to redo all of the levels and what not. there have also been a few other missing things like NPC's that are supposed to be there. Every one of my games will have something missing. I've thought about putting my saves in a folder, then reinstalling morrowind, but i'm not sure if that would work. Any suggestions?

I am not sure the rocks actually move when they are blasted- have you tried pointing the crosshair at the black space in between the rocks (after you blow them up, that is!)? if it says something like 'passage to blah' you just activate it by hitting the spacebar and it acts like a door.
If there is no passage, maybe the solution I found for a later Tribunal glitch will work? Stand in front of the rocks, open the console, click on the rocks and type disable. Rocks should vanish, and the passageway ought to appear (in theory)
If these don't work, someone more technically minded ought to be able to come up with the right console command.
The missing NPCs can be reset by opening the console and typing ra .This will only reset the npcs in that cell, I believe, and only those whom you have not killed! If that doesn't work, there is a specific console command for replacing each npc, but you have to know their names. The one that commonly vanishes is Sharn gra-Muzgob in Balmora mages' guild. To respawn her, go to where she ought to be standing and type exactly this:
placeatpc"sharn gra-muzgob"1,20,1
Adapt for other npcs.

This is a bug.
It heppens if you install Bloodmoon.
To fix it, go to (
www.elderscrolls.com) and get the latest Bloodmoon patch.
Once this is installed, you should be able to clear the rocks (they do explode, so keep your distance :thumb: )
