I found glass greaves along with several other glass pieces in a room in the Ald'ruhn Fighter's Guild, but it was behind a high level locked door.

If you gain a high enough rank in the fighter's guild, the guild master will give you the key to the room and chests, and will just let you have them (another way to get them for those without high security skills)

Yeah, that nice vampire easy of Khuul kindly lent me her armour too ... (although I had to hop up onto a big barrel and start shooting her to kill the bloody thing).
