is this possible in order to make a more Thiefy AI,such that the AI can use the dagger as a weapon?

I haven't tried it myself, but I was able to give a peasant female a broom and tell her it was a sword and she gave me a good thrashing, :cheeky: so ,yes, I think it would be possible to give an AI a daggar with little or no problem.
