I saw the trailer for this movie on apple.com today. It seems interesting to say the least.
Could this be the first good comic book adaptation since the Punisher?
Tell me about the comic you horrible army of geeks. Is it any good? Can they make it work with Cage fucking around in the leading role?

Umm, is it just me, or are there a couple of things wrong with this sentence?

Not really, punisher was pretty decent. It was no piece of great cinema but it was enjoyable because it didnt pretend to be anything.

From the director of "DareDevil?" No.

If he wanted to defeat evil quickly and reliably, Ghost Rider wouldn't be using a Harley.

I'm with D'Juhn. Had Punisher been more like Sin City (more serious and not all those stupid one liners/flaming skull at the end) then it would have been better. It had so much potential.
As for Ghost Rider. It looks like Movie of the Week on Sci-Fi... Now that I think about it, I'd say taht Battlestar looks better. :tsktsk:

Haha, I forgot Sin City completely! Batman feels like an all TV character for me, since there's so much filmed stuff about him and I've never read the comics - but point taken. :)
Also what? DareDevil director is allowed to make another movie? Fuck I had real expectations on this one...
How's the comic, then? Sounds like Spawn but with some cool stuff thrown in for color. Worth looking into?

Eh, I didn't like The Punisher at all. I played the game first and loved it. Dark and gritty as hell. The movie-version Punisher was a sissy by comparison. Shitty action scenes too.
