I wish they'd patch the uninspired shittiness out of it (and most of their games that aren't Psychonauts and Brutal Legend).

Yes, yes I did just bump a seven month old thread. But I am in need of knowledge, you see...
Okay so I have GFWL already installed on the PC, with two profiles (one online, one offline). If I were to now go and buy a GFWL game on disc which (to the best of my knowledge) hasn't had GFWL patched out of it, would I still be able to install and play said game?
I figured it would've been quite easy to find a straightforward answer to this but surprisingly in all my searching I still haven't come across anything that gives a clear yes or no. Does anybody know how installing a GWFL game works these days? Does it vary depending on which game it is?
Help me TTLG, you're my only hope...

The GFWL service is still running. Although to get it running properly on modern Windows (i.e. something newer than dated shite Win7) you must follow some steps.

Of course you would.

It installs like every other PC game.

No.

Now why can't I get a simple answer like that anywhere else?
Thank you, Eva!
