Get psychiatric help. GFWL isn't "spying on the competition"; GFWL isn't scanning your files and spying and you.
Circumstantial observations aren't fact. I could probably convince myself that the 1969 moon landing was shot in a Nevada TV studio if I tried hard enough, doesn't make it true.

Red Faction Guerrilla lives! \o/
...kinda.
Oh man that game needs a multiplayer mod like Just Cause 2 (not that that's necessarily anything to do with this. But it not being just orphaned is a start)

I have my doubts about what Nordic is going to be able to do as far as stripping GfWL out of Guerrilla, and I kind of suspect that if they manage to do it they're not going to release a patch for existing copies. Maybe for copies bought through Steam, IF they go with Steamworks. The 'maybe we'll use an existing service, maybe we'll create one' answer reads to me like they have no idea the kind of work it'll entail to do either.

So my research tells me that quite a few GfWL titles released by Capcom were ported by Polish studio, QLOC.
RE:ORC
At least one of the Dead Rising 2's
SFxT
At least one of the SF4's
As well as most (if not all) of their Steamworks games to date:-
DmC
RE6
RE4:UE
RE:Relevations
You know what else QLOC ported for PC? Ace Combat: Assault Horizon for Namco Bandai. That game had GfWL patched out of it in January/March and Steamworks patched in. F*cking Capcom could easily fund the removal of dying GfWL from most of their affected games.

"You will get a clear answer from us very soon," Spencer said about the future of Games for Windows Live. "We have a longer term plan for multiplayer gaming and marketplace on Windows. We understand what we have today in market ... isn't great. We do understand there's some continuity of getting from where we are to where we want to be [and] that shutting the lights off [on Games for Windows Live] isn't exactly the right thing to do.
"We've got to make sure we've got a thoughtful plan that supports the people that currently have games on Games for Windows Live. It's a conversation we're having."
What conversation? How about putting down the fuckin' rumors bro'! Christ!
Well, I'm quite sure that GFWL will continue to function past July 1st and eventually transition to the Windows Store/Windows 8 ((
http://apps.microsoft.com/windows/en-us/app/blazblue-calamity-trigger/1a7a54b1-ab1d-453a-8003-33a6c4ff9e77) example). In fact GFWL updated recently, the first update in almost 2 years or more. Did you really think they were going to shutdown Dark Souls, GTA IV, etc. etc.? Anyways, 3 games will end on July 1 that I'm aware of. Age Of Empires Online, Stormrise and Universe at War: Earth Assault. That's all.
Rumor does not make fact. No matter how many times repeated.
Garme Jurnalizm! :p
RE:ORC is the shit! 4 player Co-op is a blast!
EvaUnit02 on 28/4/2014 at 08:09
Please explain the fact that MS has stopped giving out GfWL keys and thus games like Fuel, Bulletstorm and Fable 3 being pulled from digital retailers?
Aside from the Capcom games I'd really love to Dawn of War 2, Chaos Rising, Bulletstorm GTA 4 and Red Faction: Guerilla ported over to Steamworks.

At least you have Retribution for Last Stand and traditional multiplayer scenarios. Doesn't help if you want to play co-op, but I believe singleplayer should still work when GfWL dies.
