I have a GeForce 4 Video card and evidently this is not supported for Thief 3.
When I open the game, I see nothing.
Any ideas?

wrong forum, recommend a new video card, nvidia 5700 series cards are very affordable. a radeon chipset from sapphire is also affordable.

I'm in the same boat. I have one also. I'm downloading the demo now and i'm going to try and do something with it like look through the .ini/.cfg files to see if the pixel shading can be disabled. :sly:

can't disable pixelshaders, thats a core of the engine, there is a software based pixelshader emulator available. it didn't work for me with my old radeon 7500 card.

get a cheapo Radeon 9000 secondhand if you desperately need Pixel Shaders
9800 Pro's (128mb) offer excellent Performance to Price ratio.
