Getting stuck against walls in System Shock. - by JDR13

I'm encountering a bug in SS portable that is quite annoying. It's only happened twice so far but I thought I'd mention it. I'm not sure if it's unique to SS Portable or if it happens in all versions. I did a search on the forums but the only thing that seemed similar was a glitch that some people experienced in SS2.
I'm talking about getting stuck against a wall. Both times it happened to me I was doing a running jump, first off of a ledge, and then later just trying to jump over some radioactive tiles. I get stuck against a wall and I can't back away or activate any functions. Even hitting escape does nothing in this situation, I have to ctr-alt-del out of it and use Task Manager to end the program.
I tried hitting every button on the keyboard when this happened to no avail. My weapon will activate when I hit my mouse button, but I can't jump, crouch, or anything else. Also, strafing to the left or right will cause me to slowly slide against the wall until I hit a corner but otherwise has no positive effect.
Just curious if this has ever happened to anyone else.

Just an idea but if you have a very fast system you might want to try to (

It is System Shock, the engine could use an update :p
I've done this before, only once thou.
Try this: Open a door, while standing on one side of the door, lean to look through the other side of the door, then close it. The hacker is some kind of .. alien o.o'
