Once you get into the endgame, STALKER pretty much just starts dropping fresh suits directly in your path.
Now if I could just understand why I insist on filling my belt with Battery artifacts and hanging around in electrical anomalies to repair my SEVA suit, when I have more than enough cash to buy ten brand new ones.

It is. It's the best suit in the game. I guess people will have a tendency to avoid it because it looks too dorky.

Avoiding? Bah! Headshot 'em all! On my current runthrough I didn't even bother with taking the back road to Cordon. Just blasted right through the military blockade to the Garbage.

Well, yes, I did headshot all of them with my scoped storming Alkaban as I exited the lab but I thought there were probably more of them waiting between there and Garbage. I didn't mind the shortcut.

I use the shortcut too. I prefer avoiding big battles when possible until I find a decent suit and 4 - 5 battery artifacts. ;)

It's better in a couple of areas and lighter, but not by a great deal and it's twice the price (and the Seva looks cooler :p) so the Seva gets a better all around rating from me.

The scientist suits are good for environment hazards, but for combat I like the military suit you find in Pripyat, 55% bulletproof cap and you can still sprint. :cool:
And if you equip 4 +5% bulletproof cap artifacts and 1 urchin to get rid of radiation, the protection goes to 75%.

Speaking of getting totally owned I hope the next time I go through that awesome assault armor you get in the room with the decoder (among other places) actually works for me next time around; the first time through puting it on was like being naked, and it was so badass looking and fast but I couldnt use it.
