and what do you mean voodoo47??? is it the fact i got a comp with no graphics card???
also anyone got a digital copy of thief 2 they can send to me, the version i got is somehow missing something i need to play thief 2 fan missions, just message me for more info if needed

I think he's referring to the integrated GPU. For anything more than basic gaming, a dedicated GPU is required. Any game you play will be bottlenecked by your gpu with the setup you listed. Get at least a 2GB dedicated gpu and you're set.

I was left with a Geforce 710 for a brief period last year which I think is more or less the same as HD 630 and it wasn't cutting it in some fan missions, I could really feel it struggling, so if you can you should get some low profile video card from the last decade that has the peformance of a 650/750/950/1030 etc.

ty all for info but as of now i got to get a thief 2 version that lets me access fm sel to work on my new comp
i don't plan on getting graphics card as i don't game besides thief fan missions

A (german) manual for the Dell OptiPlex 3050 has a section describing how to insert or remove one or more PCIe cards. Thus, if the integrated graphics of the processor are not enough, it should be possible to upgrade the machine with a "real" ("dedicated") graphics card. Seems like not all is lost so far.

yes the slim form factor comp can use a single slot card if i want but since i don't game like i did back in late 90's,i hope it will be decent for fan missions only

You might get a bit of stutter here and there if the FM has huge open areas, or detailed custom textures, but shouldn't be too bad
