i currently use win xp and when i play thif 1,2 i just simple turn off 1 of 2 afinity's and plays great,now my question is with win 7 is there anything i got to do to play thief 1/2 to get the fan missions and main game to work ?

You can do what you've done when you had XP, however, I highly recommend installing T2 with Tafferpatcher which will resolve all tweaks, 1.18 update, meshes, etc.. as well as widescreen fix and multi-core processor support.:p It's really easy to install and I've used it for some time. Let me know if this helps.

Congrats with the new PC. I love the small form factor Dell Optiplexes. I think you should get a Geforce 1030 if you can.
