How do I get into Tracey Feng's apartment at the Queen's Tower in Hong Kong? I see the door go by when I go up the Maggie Chow's place but I can't figure out how to actually get to it to open it.

It's not Tracey Feng's, it's the floor that's being refurbished. The main lift has an out of order sign on it. You can get into it by going round the back of the military bot and up on top of the main elevator, taking the service elevator (you read Public Terminal notices, right?!) or exploring Maggie Chow's apartment.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
God, I can be thick sometimes. I've been all over that building, including the roof, renovated floor, her apartment and everything else under the sun. I thought the locked door you pass in the elevator was Feng's apartment, since his listing is directly below Chow's. I suppose the side-by-side doors on the gutted floor should've been a giveaway.
Oh well.

In relation to this area, does anyone know how you're supposed to open the door to the MJ12 base behind the Buddha?
Malygris on 27/9/2007 at 00:59
The only switch I found for it was located in the MJ12 quarters underneath the apartment.

The budda itself was supposed to be a doorway, actually: but the mover for it has the keyframes all assigned to the same place: it may or may not "move" according to the code (I forget how it was triggered), but either way it stays in the same place. :)
For the secret door the MJ12 folks actually CAN use, there should be a candlestick somewhere on the wall to pull on.

The buddha did work in the original version, but it doesn't in the GOTY for some reason.

Perhaps. ;)

Implausible as you didn't manage to link it either to MJ12 or the illuminati. :P

I own the GOTY version and the buddah's never worked for me either, no matter how many times I press the switch or try to find some other way to open it.
However, I do seem to recall one playthrough where I became involved in a firefight with several MJ12 troops inside the base. I retreated through the door under the paper lantern and moved back into the apartment, forcing troops to give chase. At some point during the skirmish, I saw that the buddah door had at some point opened up!
I never actually noticed it opening (either I wasn't in the room or I was facing the wrong way at the time). I can only assume it was somehow triggered by the troops. It's only ever happened the one time though, so my mind does truly boggle!
