:ebil: Most of you have probably either read about this or have done it but just in case it hasn't been mentioned here I found a way to get some awesome Glass Armor. I went from Armor class 60's to Armor Class 140's. The secret is Raid the major house treasuries in Vivec. What I did was wander around till I found the Treasury and then removed ALL my equipment except for some money (just enough to pay for several fines) and my pick and probe. There are guards standing all over inside and out of the treasure vaults so there is almost no way to get passed the traps and locks with out getting caught. (NOTE: Make sure you save after every successful attempt or action). I removed the trap and picked the lock, and of course the guards nabbed me, I paid my small fine and since I put everything I had been wearing and carrying on the floor, the stolen stuff wasn't taken. I opened the door, went back and picked up all the stuff I had removed and put it back on and went inside the vault. By using the Sneak key I was able to strip the vault bare. I cast Mark and left catching the Stilt Strider back to my home base (the smuggler cave outside Seyda Neen) and unloaded, rested and cast Recall which took me right back to the Vault. I made about 6+ trips in each vault, before I had everything. The Hlaalu and Redoran Treasure Vaults were fairly simple. I picked up some of the Glass Armor (Armor Rating 166) in each of the Vaults which gave me pretty close to a complete set, and I picked up a Daedric Claymore in there also. The Telvanni Treasury Vault was harder. There were two Storm Atronachs behind the door that you have to fight (Keep those healing potions ready) and when you get through there are like two little treasure chests that have a small amount of gold in them. I was PO'd when I thought that I had wasted all those potions but when I went back through the door I was in the main vault and tons of treasure (Those Mages sure know how to hoard). Again I did the same thing with the Mark and Recall... there are two guards in side with you but you can steal everything if you keep that sneak key down. Now the hardest thing I have to do is find someone who can pay the thousands of GP for the stuff I stole. Some of that Armor and weapons are like priceless...

did you know what you did was usless you could have made the guards turn away from you then used a invisiblity potion so you would never have to pay the fines or even get hurt! i knew about this since the first time i played o yeah and when you have the shadow as your sign you can steal on thing and then become visable agin so it doesent really mater because then you just sleep for 24 hours and move on. so do you see why i called you a retard ive never even went to jail whit my character and hes level 13. o yeah and if you try to open a box or chest or sack you become visible agin and if you try to pick something with the lockpick magic spells dont count.

orcmaster: Kindly refrain from calling someone a retard. This board is about sharing interesting things that haven't been seen before and helping people who missed something that may or may not have been obvious to you. Noone cares to read of your posturing on how you roxxored the game the 1st time around, as most of us have as well. So you knew that trick, so what? Yours isn't any more original than his is, now is it? Please, if you must take umbrage with what someone says, would you use language more suited to the average maturity level on here?

uh huh... well I guess it all depends on what you are used to doing. my character has never been in jail either.. and I would rather pay a 5 GP fine than mess around with casting spells and the way invisibility works... if you open something you become visible so why mess with it... I prefer the Tower because it allows you to open locks once a day and has numerous other abilities that come in handy especially at a lower level...

Hi first of all thanks very much for sharing your discovery with the forum GomezAddams - new players discover this site all the time and its useful to have ‘updates' every so often on topics like this.
Interestingly there is in fact a key for the Redoran treasury that is located in a dresser at the top of the biggest manor in the Redoran canton in Vivec.
I'm unsure if you now indeed have a full suit of glass armour but if you need the pauldrons and gauntlets you might try having a look around Molag Mar. There is a barracks which houses an elite group of guards answering only to Vivec himself at Molag Mar and many of the troops have glass armour and at least one has a full suit (minus helm). You'll have to taunt and kill to get the armour and I'm unsure whether these guys are needed for a quest but all the same I thought I'd share this information as I haven't seen it on any of the threads pertaining to the location of glass armour.
Also in regards to daedric armour I recently noticed that the head guard Turedus Talanian at Tel Vos has a left gauntlet on his person. You can find Turedus in Aryon's quarters but you'll need to be able to levitate to get there.
Cheers. :)

Smokeskin-killer, the argonian guard in Tel Vos central tower wears an almost complete glass set (no boots since beast races can't wear those).
And GomezAddams, please use enter once in a while if you make long post again. It helps readability.

orcmaster: Are you serious? You are not in any position to call anyone a retard.. I feel dumber just for having read your post. Punctuation is your friend. No one cares what level you are, in fact most of us are laughing at the fact that you thought 13 was noteworthy. Gomez was trying to help some people out, in sharing a good place for thieves to get some loot. What have you contributed lately?
Druscashti dwemer ruin, headquarters of the Quarra vampire clan, has a vamp wearing a full suit of glass, minus the helm. I belive there is a helm somewhere in the ruins also, as I came back from them with one. Also a vamp wearing a full suit of ebony, minus the helm, and a pair of Deadric greaves in a chest. The ruin is located South West of the Urshilaku camp.
My method for avoiding Jail: Ordinators attack me on sight anyway. The dead arrest no one
How to sell those expensive items: There are 2 "merchants" in the game that have a large ammount of money. Believe it or not, one is a Scamp, and one is a Mud Crab. The Scamp is the easiest to find, so I'll go over him. His name is Creeper, and he is located in the upstairs of Ghorak(sp?) Manor in Caldera. He has a budget of 5,000, and it respawns every day. He also buys everything (except Alchemy related items), and gives you full price, as long as Armor and weapons are in good condition. Just sell him 5,000 worth of stuff, then wait 24 hours. Repeat. For items worth alot more, buy a bunch of cheaper items(yes, the stuff you already sold him) totaling the amount of the item you want to sell him. Now he has enough money to buy that big item. Then just sell the smaller items back to him 5,000 and a day at a time. Tedious? Yes. Worth it? Definately.
Also check out Dren Plantation. Loaded with rich, wannabe warriors. They carry some of the best non-unique weapons in the game. Sure you have to murder a few people... but I feel no sorrow for slave owners.;) Located North and a little West of Vivec.
Hope this helps a little.

Anyone care to enlighten me?
I've already cleared out the Dren plantation (;) some ice stuff there) and killed some people in ghostgate for some nice stuff. But i need to level up more (i'm only level 10 ATM).
