dude, according to (http://www.deusex-machina.com/shownews.asp?id=1167) this, there is a chatroom open for talking to the deus ex dev team. I only got as far as logging into gamespy arcade but what next?

Shoot. I'm glad they gave less than 1 day notice. I unfortunately had other engagements tonight -- did anyone get a capture or can share a general gist of what happened? :)

I have a feeling it was all just a hoax. They gave us a link that they just made up and if they had really done the chat with the dev team, it would at least have been somewhere on the gamespy main page.

I'm quite surprised that PDX doesn't have anything on it. Maybe it didn't go according to plan, or, as you say, it blew up and never happened.

Uhherrrr... I think that the chat didn't go as expected much like the demo.

I was looking all over for evidence or reporting of the occurence of the chat and what might've happened through it, but I couldn't find anything anywhere including PDX. I finally gave up and asked Harvey if the chat occurred and how did it go, and he replied with "tonight". Seems like Gamespy had a huge SNAFU last night! It does leave hope for the demo coming out tonight though. They might accompany one another.
