Or finding artists at all...
I uh... said that.
Awesome example pic. Really exemplifies the philosophy I've taken with SHTUP.
If only Cyberblutch had felt the same way.

I dunno, i thought they overdid the muscles on all characters in that hd remake, to a gears of war level. Particularly if you compare say ryu or one of the other nimbler characters, original and remade.
Of course the art style was exaggerated in the original but nowhere near this level.
The original style also seemed a compromise between western and eastern cartooning styles - or at very least a subtle variant of anime. Whereas the remake seems again exaggerated in this regard.
It's almost very nice, but i don't know, the lack of subtlety spoils it. I guess they thought it wouldn't look cool enough to sell otherwise.
On topic:
8 looks like it has a power button (top left) and so could be some other type of whisk or something (although there is already 11 for that).
To be honest, most have been identified and there seems to be enough to make a good true likeness.

Yeah, that re-drawn dude has no neck*. His waist and top-of-head are both at the same height as before, but his shoulders are way higher, and really ludicrously large. It's almost a really awesome version of the original, but it actually looks a little freakish next to it.
* He also appears to have some ghoulish bulbous growths. WTF are they?!

Which is why I could never nowdays disagree with you for ever saying my psi-amp design wasn't too exact with the original.
(while I still have say that the original psi-amp is some crude work)
Now I know more than I did back then.
I'm pretty sure cyberblutch has a ton more experience nowdays.

...This should be an amusing diversion...
Even in future space travel a disassembled Swiss army knife still holds sway.
