Christ, yes. I forgot that he'd changed even the ghost parade at the end of Jedi to have a young Anakin which
so utterly and irrevocably fucks the universe's continuity up it's own ass that it makes my anus bleed.
Don't forget the other scene also at the end of Episode VI, where we are shown a fly-over view of one big city (forgot which was it), with all kinds of aliens celebrating and dancing around. Right there, on top of a building, we see another group of aliens dancing - upon closer inspection, they turn out to be no other than a bunch of gungans! :o
At least they fit better in that scene than young Anakin in the ghost one :eww: .

Scots - recommend that you check for other causes attributing to anal bleeding stat. Report back.

Calm, everyone. Lucas is old. He will be dead or retired before too long. That is when the rights will go on to somebody with a clue. Someone who has a firm understanding of what went wrong with Star Wars and can re-start the franchise without making the same mistakes. With such an unfailing money-maker as SW, there is no way this won't happen, even if GL states in his will that there shall be no more Star Wars. Jett will just laugh evilly while pissing on the will and succumb to his own greed, putting Fox and Lucasfilm at it again with firm determination to harvest the required rewievs to make somebody but the fans watch his movies.
In our lifetime, folks.

Would it actually be possible for anyone to make a SW movie after Lucas pops his clogs without the core fanbase going apeshit?
I would love to see some new material with a nice script and good actors, but I just can't imagine it happening for some reason.

A number of years ago I would say no, but now...very much possible.

I was about to retort that Lucas only directed Episode 4 (of the original 3), but then I realized how nerdy it would sound.
