I have finished the game of the year addition and want to try some mods. Quest mods are what I would like to try but have a question. Once I finish a mod, can I uninstall it and still use whatever new items I found there? Or are they only good as long as the mod itself is installed?
I ask because I want to conserve hd space as I have an older computer. It only has 40gig of hd. Thanks so much!

Speaking of items dependant on the mod or introduced by it, I would HIGHLY doubt it, but I have never actually uninstalled one and kept playing. I would think that the general Morrowind items would carry over.

Yeah I'm talking about new otems introduced in the mod. Will they still work if I uninstall that particular mod?

Most definitely not.

Yeah, I asked around and this is most certainly seconded.

Thanks everybody! Guess I will have to live with items not working if I run out of hd space.
I got the illuminated order mod the last time I searched the sites. Thanks for the recommendation.
Any other quest mods of note?

try the Five Toes Guild... you may find it "odd" at the beggining, but you will be surprised later on;
I also recommendthe following:
1.- Daedric Scorcery;
2.- The prophecies of the lost heir (requires tribunal)
3.- The Greatest Latest Houseing Mod (it is based on buying houses, but the quest adjacent to it is awesome.... and you get to meet the ghost of Sotha Sil!)
4.- If you are also trying to get another perspective of morrowind, i say House Dagoth (Morrowind only)....
there were some more quest mods I had, but cant remember the names...... im gonna search my old mod directory(mods i uninstalled) and see.
Oh, and about the items, the answer is defenatly NO! And you may get errors if you uninstall a mod with mod items still on you!
to avoid this, place all your items (clothes too) in a NON-MOD interior cell(palace of vivec, for example), save, exit the game, disable the mod in the Data files of the launcher, enter the game, load the save, say yes to error messages, save again and exit the game, remove the .esp file from the Data files Directory (like that, new textures, icons and meshes from that mod will be ignored)... and you are done! Go back to the cell and the items that didnt belong to the mod you uninstalled will be there!

I have the lost heir and downloaded the daedric scorcery one. I'm not sure I would like the other 2. By the way I also will use your tip for uninstalling mods. :o)
Of course, I look forward to any other suggestions. Thanks a bunch!:thumb::angel:

try "The Goblin Lab"(TGL), for tribunal. I just started it and seems it is gonna be a good one. also, I have "A drow story"... a companion quest mod for tribunal. I havent tried it yet, as i cant find the npc to start the quest... maybe after TGL...
Or you can just look yoursel in planetelderscrolls! Quests Division! There are many there... read the comments and try them out.
