How should I make those? I have found an object called something like "bluish fog", but I don't see what it does. I want to have this special Thief 3 fog that points to the exit from a map. Also, how can I add the basic fog into my map? In UT2004, I should've used the ZoneInfo actors, but I don't see them in T3Ed...

Open up your actor browser and go to FX>Emitter. Under here you'll find TravelDarknessLarge/Medium/Small. Just place one of these in your map and it will create the fog effect. If you want to see how it looks in the editor, click the Ion logo to go into Flesh mode on your 3d view window then click the little joystick icon on the left side of the top bar on the 3d window.

Thanks, and what about the real fog?

Woops, forgot to mention how to do the real fog. The properties for level-wide fog are found on the LevelInfo actor. This actor can't actually be seen or clicked on in the editor, so you have to search for it. Go to Edit>Search for Actors and scroll down the list until you find LevelInfo__0 and double click it to select it. Then click the button on the top toolbar that looks like a pawn chess piece with a little scroll thing to the right of it to open its properties. To enable fog, look under ZoneInfo and set "bDistanceFog" and "bFogZone" both to true. All the properties that define how the fog looks are under ZoneLight. This is also where you can set the ambient light for your level. Look at the maps from the shipping game to see what kind of values make for good-looking fog and ambient light.

Since the loadzone fog appears to be a manual addition, would it be possible to have invisible loadzones as in Half Life, for example a corridor with a blind corner at each end and a loadzone half-way down?

You can also go to View>Level Properties to bring up the level info properties instead of searching for it.

LOL I didn't know this property until some month ago, when randomly I pressed some key then it appeared. Awesome!
