And with that you show how foolish you are.

It's going to be an interesting night as news of the 'nu-cabinet' trickles out of Number 10.
Much like sewage trickles out of a broken pipe into the ocean.
Clearly Mr Cleggy Weggy will be Deputy Prime Minister. But not George Osborne as Chancellor...please god no. Interesting to see what positions the Lib Dems will get on the cabinet though.
Russell Howard puts this best:

Sorry to disappoint you, but Osborne is indeed Chancellor. I also would have preferred Clarke or Cable, but I guess it's not surprising. In fact, Vince Cable has been conspicuous by his absence on the TV screens over the past week, for someone who has such a high reputation as a non-partisan LibDem.
Rumour is that there's a total of five cabinet seats for the LibDems - I'd have liked Paddy Ashdown to be Defence Minister but Liam Fox is reasonably OK I guess. For a party with environmental concerns such a high priority I'd expect the LibDems to get Environment Minister. Some of the LibDem cabinet positions I guess will be filled by the Lords, but I don't know any of them except Paddy.

I wonder who gets Peter Mandelson's job as Minister of Supreme Overlord of the Universe, given how many cabinet positions he had!
Where is Stronts? I'd be interested to hear what he's thinking about this - is he rejoicing at being in power after 90 years away, or is he burning his membership card after feeling sold out?

I am enjoying this news. Yes.

I actually find all the toff jokes tired and boring and also smacking of both jealousy and discrimination.
inselaffe on 11/5/2010 at 23:37
Crikey, didn't expect you to go this far up your own arse. True colours coming through, I spose it's been clear from your general attitude though.
People are not jealous, they just object to protecting the rich and exploiting the poor. Something you clearly have no qualms with.
