It's confirmed, we're all having a big
erection election in the UK one month from now.

Will Jonah hang on grimly to power? Will spivvy posh nob Dave lead us into a new era of prosperity (for the rich)? Will a third party (ha ha) make a real impact? Can anyone really be arsed voting any more?
Gosh, it's all so exciting!

I'm in Lincoln which could conceivably change hands (from labour to tory) so that's slightly exciting I suppose.

Yes! At last. The bitchy build up has gone on too long.
This time I really have no idea who I'll vote for. Might not be one of the big three because I'm not even sure there is a lesser evil amongst this unholy triad atm.

I definitely won't be voting for any of the three main parties because there just aren't enough differences between them. Centre ground my arse.
I used to vote for the Tories out of sympathy for those who are still conservative, but since Cameron took over I've found it much easier to see the party for what is is - a mixture of unprincipled radicals and deluded grass-roots loyalists who think the leadership will allow them to be conservative once Labour is out of the way.

Oh man, I love that your politicians have only one month to campaign for elections. So much better than our 2-year(+) campaign cycle.

That simply isn't true, and if you pick a policy at random, I'll demonstrate how.
In this instance, I find your comment doubly distressing, since the Lib Dem candidate in your neck of the woods is my cousin :p

Ha. Well, okay, I admit that the three main parties all think we should remain in the EU, albeit with very different ideas about the level of involvement.
Bit unsporting of you to pick one of the few policies where there's a moderate level of consensus, though, isn't it? Surely it's only fringe lunatics like UKIP who think we should leave the EU?
Aerothorn on 6/4/2010 at 14:12
In before "I'm a UKIP member, asshole!" post.
