Hi Guys- First time poster here!
I've had a search around these forums and have tried to find a definitive solution to a problem I'm having. I'm trying to run Thief II on my laptop here with the GeForce 8600M GT graphics card. As is becoming clear new Nvidia graphics card hate this game. With the new DDfix installed the game runs fine but I cannot see any detail in the shadows. Changing the gamma fix property in DDfix and the gamma settings in the CAM file do nothing for me. Anyone found a way around this problem with the Nvidia cards? I'm also running this on a windows virtual machine (Parallels 6) on Mac so it wont allow me to change the graphics drivers!!

Well give me a bit of time and I solve my own problem! Having battled with it for hours I found out that altering the gamma/ colour profile settings under the Mac Operating system preferences worked like a treat! Turns out that Parallels doesn't take any adjustments you do to the graphic settings into account- its all handled by the mac. Well whatever- it now works perfectly.:thumb:
