Anyway, if you don't mind me asking - why move to the USA instead of having Starrfall move to Canada? Seems like that is both economically more efficient and you don't have to deal with this country's politics as much.

I thought most people here were aware of Starry's continuing ed. Didn't she post something a while back about having a paper published in the Law Review? Since law is regional, and she's been working damned hard to get into a good school and pursue that career, moving to Canada would be a huge set back for her.
