Which, okay, nothing fundamentally wrong with that. I do it myself. It's rejuvenating.
BUT
On Friday when I do that I will have a wife who will say "Stop it we're in a restaurant you goof" -- and that woman who rolls her eyes at her husband will be called Starrfall.
I don't know if anyone's really interested in hearing me go all soppy and awwww about how much I love her and what kind of awesomeness my life has become since we met. I'll probably spare you the tale of our first kiss in the moonlight on a cliff overlooking the Pacific while the faint screams of someone being bitten by a shark wafted up from down the beach. I'll just keep it short and sweet (like my baby monky awwwwww) and say HAY GUYS WE GETTIN MARRIED after what seems like an eternity of paperwork and errands in the pursuit of an immigration visa.
At the risk of overloading the Geek-o-meter, I also just want to mutter that for the past seven years (oh god) TTLG has been my main base on the Internets -- a haven of happy in the never-ending series of tubes which get clogged with gunk -- and as such it's like you all are my Other Family. And since we've already told our real families, it seemed like it was time to tell you lot. You scruffy, maladjusted, wine-bottle-throwing, best-friends-in-a-fight bastards.
Heart u all mucho. Hope this news makes you even a tiny bit as happy as it makes me.

The failure of a foolhardy webcam proposal from six years previous is indeed a bitter pill to swallow, but the man GBM plays an overwhelmingly good game. Also my arms were never long enough for dueling.
