Bloodmoon is cool. It's like going to yellowstone national park and killing all the endangered animals there.

From the desk of: GBM vs Morrowind (A Writing In Progress)
* "Paralyzation"? Cure Paralyzation? Resist Paralyzation? Surely they mean Paralysis...
* One who sails is called a Sailor. Not a "Sailer"
* If there are going to be such ridiculously out-of-place and Final Fantasy VII-looking things like Ogrim, why can't I at least steal their nipple-rings?
* This game crashes a lot. And I don't think we should feel obliged to say "Well, yes, but if you save a lot it's okay." It's a professional bit of software, it shouldn't crash at all, or if a certain amount of crashing is acceptable, Morrowind has FAR exceeded this limit. It really is unforgivable for a polished and released game to crash so often.
* I have finally had to turn the music off. It was just getting to me. Not enough variation... There could at least be different styles of background music for different lands / environments. Maybe there are... but if there are then that's even worse because I didn't notice.

Most of the temple quests I get are "please deliver this book to the office of the watch, then see me in my quarters..." -_-
Also, since I'm a training alcolyte, I wear traditional priestess robes(sheikizza)... glad I'm in a warm place like vivec though.

Bah. You got the cushy job...
Here I am, whatever the next rank above Curate is, and they've got me swanning up to some godforsaken hermit shack near Dagon Fel (yes, another End of the Word adventure for me, though this one came from Ghostgate -- the buddy at Vivec and the buddy at Ald-ruhn are fresh out of goofy errands to send me on). WTF is it going to be like when I am the Pope?
"Excuse me, your Holiness... Can you just pick up my laundry? I'm a bit busy standing around here nattering with Vloosh Gaboosh. Here's the ticket, it's the little Argonian place in SHEOGORAD AGAIN OLOLOL!"
Ah, well. Gots to pay yer dues, I suppose. But seriously... sending me crashing through a nasty Daedric Ruin to retrieve a pair of SHOES some priest THINKS he dreamed were there?
Can't wait to see what the Mages have in store for me... I've already gone mushroom collecting for pussycat in Balmora. $10 they send me to Dagon Fel to find something I can easily make in my basement at this point. "HAY GO TO THE OTHER END OF THE CONTINENT AND FETCH ME A POTION OF GATORADE OLOLOL"
:D

Hence I came up with the unofficial Final Fantasy soundtrack mod ;). Simply put, replace battle pieces with similarly themed ones from whichever you want, and the same goes for 'explore'! I found some which fit perfectly.. I think I got most of 'em from FF7, 8, and 9.. FF9's Oeilvert/opening theme is perfect for Morrowind's opening! :thumb:
Just a suggestion. The default music
does get old after a while, and the classic battle songs from Final Fantasy soundtracks really get ya pumped up once they start up! (or maybe it's just the momentary thought, "Hey, I'm getting warped into FF!"
deadman.

I think I fixed the crashes for my game by going into the morrowind.ini and changing
Interior Cell Buffer=
Exterior Cell Buffer=
and set them both to 0
Interior Cell Buffer=0
Exterior Cell Buffer=0

I will try that :)
I have been wandering around fairly aimlessly since the Temple and the Mages' Guild ran out of things for me to do. I kinda wish I was able to give THEM duties now that I am their high commander, but hey. :D
Before I go back to Gentleman Jim or start running around for the Fighters' Guild, I figured I'd go on an explore. And that's the one thing I think Morrowind blows my mind over still: There is just so much available to see and do.
It started as a bit of a sight-seeing holiday. I was going to revisit some of the more impressive things I've seen and take pictures. Rather a pleasant way to do things, especially since a lot of the things I wanted to take pictures of were best seen in certain light, day or night, rain, shine, whatever. Dagon Fel looks best in the rain, Ghostgate just looks wrong without a howling sandstorm, Vivec's Temple Canton / Ministry of Truth looks fantastic in the sunrise, etc.
Course, I ended up getting lost a lot. Finding caves and tombs and places and people I hadn't even suspected were there. Went for a long water-walk just to see how far the menhirs went, and I ran into some Khajit Fisherman who told me lies as big as a wizard's ego. Played "Dude, where's my guar?" with someone, talked to Rollie a while (deep thinker, Rollie is), found something called a Propylon Index or somesuch... I think it's some kind of activation key for a Dwemer mass-transit system. Might be more useful than Mage-o-Phone for most things, but I'll need to find more of them for it to be any use, I think.
Found the Face of God to complete my collection, but I'm still no good at enchanting things. I'll probably go find one of my underlings in the Mages' Guild to do it for me. I may be more scholarly than Trebonius, but I can't pull a rabbit out of a hat to save my life.
I was kinda hoping to run across Certain Ashlanders while I was on photo-safari... Thought I could get some business done while I was on holiday. But I forgot the writs in Ald-ruhn, and I never happened across the guys anyway.
I think I'll wander back to Seyda Neen and see if I can't figure out what happened to that Taxman before I head back home to suit up and knock on the Fighters' Guild door.
And I really need to move into my stronghold at some point. There's hardly any room to move in my hut in Ald-ruhn now... I must have 40 helmets alone, never mind the pile of scrolls and books. And I have more skooma than a person should be allowed.

deadman. Even better, take the music from (
www.ocremix.org) and pick your favorite upbeat tunes.
Oh wait, I already do that! :D
-edit-
Oh.. question for you Morrowind fantaics out there: I have never enchanted anything, but I know one needs soul gems. How do you trap souls, and more importantly, can you enchant items to have a constant effect?
-edit-
Oh.. and to continue what I hope will be a trend, I'm going to post a pic of my Morrowind charcter, Katya the lvl 46 Khajiit Swashbuckler:

* Since when do you mine ebony?
easterlingman: With an empty soul gem, a Soul Trap spell (or a Gem-Feeder Scroll)... You hit the target with the spell, then kill it before the spell wears off (not usually a problem). Voosh: Automatically trapped. Then it can be used to enchant things. Beware: the more potent the soul, the larger the gem required. You'll not get a Dremora Lord into a Lesser Soul Gem.
As far as Constant Effects, yes you can do those, and yes you need a soul gem. You need a charged soul gem to do ANY enchanting. You'll need the most powerful souls of all to pull of a Constant Effect, though. Ascended Sleepers and Golden Saints have enough soul energy to do it, I don't know of any others yet. But of course, the item you are enchanting will only take a certain amount of magic... It can be disappointing to find that your wicked cool helmet won't hold more than a Demoralise Humanoid to 20 points. >:|

Me and Exile/Marxist argued about that. I was going by the dictionary definition too, but in Morrowind ebony is a type of.. volcanic glass, I think? Check out the official site and they talk about what all the armor is made of. Daedric armor is refined ebony, I think.
Easterlingman: Your khajit looks small... but I looked at your stats and those letters are really bright! Mine are dull and fuzzy. I know there was a thread about that, but they didn't say it made things brighter... So did you just mess with the pic, or does yours really look like that? (Btw, your char looks pretty cool! You need to work on yours stats though ;) )
