Hello everybody!
I´ve been far from this forum for a loooong time. So I am here again trying to gather strength to finally finish my FM. I started it almost after the T3Ed was out, built many many rooms and them it stayed there, waiting to be finished. I try to continue it every year, but it never works.
Hope now, posting here, I can finally get motivated to end it. :cheeky:
The FM is not that good, it is big, but most of the rooms were made with copy and paste. :cheeky:
But I have some problems:
1 - I forgot almost everything about T3Ed during these years... :nono:
2 - I changed my pc and looks like I lost the scripts of my FM. :sweat:
(Where are the scripts saved? Aren´t they in the *.unr files?)
Well... I will read the tutorials again and try to continue the FM.

Afaik, scripts are saved in gamesys.t3u.
Komag's tutorial might refresh your memory, it's an enjoyable reading also.

When you 'bake' the mission files at the end of the construction process, the scripts are burned into the map files. Until that time, all of your scripts are saved in CONTENT\T3\TriggerScript\Defs. If you have not backed up your triggerscripts, then you are screwed.

Yeap, I AM screwed. :eww:
At least the links between the objetcs are still there, and I only had 4 or 5 scripts. :p
And today, with the help of Komag tutorial, 3 of them are remade and working!

Don't give up! :) It would be nice to play something different than my FM in the works :] (or, I should rather say, our campaign).

Well, it was to be released this Christmas, but it's quite possible that we'll have it released along with your mod :) Some of us had some real life issues, e.g. I had a huge break from T3eding, 3 or 4 months. Right now everything is going back to normal, I'm in a 3/4 of my FM and my personal deadline is somewhere around the end of spring (at least for the map-making process). Unfortunately it's quite hard to say when the whole campaign will be ready. I guess our way of work is a bit uneven in comparison to yours.

Still not sure about that. I've been trying to motivate myself to finish it, but there just didn't seem to be any interest in using it...so I retired. lol
