I just did the quest again last night, and have the following advice: Do not use Fireball spells or any other damage spells with a radius of effect to take out the atronarch guarding the area. You'll blow the tears all over the place and never be able to find them. I was only able to recover three of them after a fireball battle. Thank goodness the autosave allowed me to go back & try again.

Oh....:erm:
Can anyone be so kind to tell me which stone specifically it was on/in? :erm: Although I think it is no longer there after we had a little fight here....
And Wireframe is not much of a help either...(is it noticable at a far enough distance in twf?). I just can't find it anywhere. And no saves of course..
Smart girl. :erg:

The tears are definitely not very noticeable from a distance. Their size is something between a ring and an amulet, but their colour blends in very well to the "ice" texture all around. The tears are slightly darker though, and of course rougly "tear-shaped". I only found them by combing through all of the frozen area with my nose to the ground.
Shouldn't you at least have an auto-save from the last load zone prior entering the glade?

That is the MAJOR point - I don't! I'm so pissed off with my own self:mad:

You should try blaming the game designers. After all, you did the best you could, and it's their fault it didn't work!
I use that excuse all the time, works like charm.
Curse them!

Yeah, I did my best by trying to blow up the whole place with fireballs.... Did I really expect all the Tears would stay in place after that? :) The fifth one is no longer in that rock, I'm more than sure... Still, do you remember which stone? Or direction? Or anything at all that could help?

Just did this last night and it took forever to find all of the tears.
Didn't help that I was being mocked by my husband the whole time for spending so long searching for sperm in the snow.
