I got a run-time error "The object invoked has disconnected from its client." I was trying to install Schism. I followed the instructions to clean up after, tried again and got the same error. :p
.
I get this too, whenever i click 'install' . Hmmm... Could it be missing runtime libraries? perhaps for the zipping?
Great utility though. I look forward to getting it fully working
[edit]
Reinstalled - I don't get the 'disconnected' error and some of the zips now work. (Perhaps the fact that dracflamloc's Thief 3 Launcher was set to 'launch thief 3' helped with possible registry issues? Not sure how it works).
I now get I run time error 5018 when clicking on one of the FM's in the window. All except Townhouse.
[further edit]
I deleted readme.glml from the krelek archive and now that installs ok. The program seems to crash after (successfully) inflating the readme file. Krelik still crashes when running but I guess that's another problem for elsewhere...

Ok what I am going to do is update GarrettLoader to provide custom error codes based upon whereabouts it is in the process...however it will take a while to do...at least a week of coding :(

I've had a quick peek at the registry settings as well as the Garretloader log. The savegame folder in the registry is in fact specified as Thief-DS. Garret Loader is set up to Use the c:\Thief3 directory. So as a result some files were being placed in both folders.
No biggie really just quite unexpected. I will be running only two directories from here on out but as you had guessed what is already happening there is really no point for me to send you anything unless you really really want it :)
off to try to run some more FM's...

I've no clue about this kind of stuff but I'm getting a few different errors.
I got the runtime error in 9 and -23(?) flavours.
I get the object disconnect error.

runtime error 9 is a subscript out of range error, I am presuming you are doing this on A Love Story 2? if so I think teh problem is too many files (1797 to be unzipped as far as I can tell, where as the zip handler is set for 1500).
Ok question to whoever....
what files do new object require in a T2 FM?
and example being in A love story 2 which has this:
Fmage
Fmage.bin
Fmage.cal
Fmage.e
Fmage.gif
Do the .e and .cal and the extentionless files need to be extracted?
potterr on 27/8/2005 at 18:13
never mind I have fixed this by increasing the file count (it errored on certain counts so it was abit fo trial and error to increase it).

Cal has the joint data. The .e file is the text version of the .3ds file. It isn't needed, unless someone wants to change the texture or convert it back to .3ds.
Does the next version of GarrettLoader pack the whole "Thief -Deadly Shadows" save folder. T3Ed dumps stuff to that folder, and I would like to keep that stuff there even when I play FM's. Only the SaveGames folder inside Thief -Deadly Shadows folder needs to be compressed and backed up.

basically yes, I have adjusted the starting folder for T3 saves to the savegames folder, however it won't backup the user options folder.
