I happened to read an article that listed some of the great voice actors for Fallout 3, that include Liam Neeson and Ron Perlman, and I came across this little gem:
Stephen Russell (Garrett from the Thief series)
He does the voices of Andy / Minister Buckingham / The Great One according to wikipedia.
There's even a character in the game named "The Mechanist"!:D

We already have two threads about this.
EDIT: They're in Thief Gen, I forgot where I was for a second.

Haven't Bethesda often got inspiration from the Thief games? Must've been an honor to finally have Garrett himself with them :D
Oblivion had a lot of similar things to Thief, the stealth, Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood, the clothing...and of course... "What was that...nothing there now...must've been rats...must've been the wind."
Just got Fallout 3, I wonder if there's any Thievy bits in this :D

*sighs*
It's not because they're fans, it's because they share a designer with the series: Emil.

Also, Skingrad was explicitly described by Bethesda as their "Thief town".

Hah, there was something about that town I liked, my favourite one in the game.
Enjoying Fallout 3, btw.

There's also a place called Shalebridge.

Okay, when did Emil replace Jordan Thomas as the Cradle creator? A Google search reveals that is mentioned mostly on
Fallout 3 comment boards. Granted, more than one person worked on the Cradle, including Randy Smith, but that was Jordan's. Ah, I found this:
