I was aware that Parkour this existed, but I did not know what it was called. You may want to avoid bringing up the subject of games in commchat in the future. This thread would have probably fared much better in thiefgen.

Fared much better in ThiefGen? Ahahaha that's a good one, seriously

Don't take it personally GoodStuf. It's just that, as someone said not too long ago, a lot of people in CommChat have moved on from Thief or whatever game brought them to TTLG.
Also, Parkwar has nothing to do with Thief anyway.

I see you took the time to capitalize the "t" and the "g". Nicely done.:thumb:
I was about to do that too, seriously.

I post on the Internet because I want to avoid all those weird unwritten rules of social interaction that I*just don't manage to absorb through osmosis like most people.
Would someone tell me what the rules of *this* game is? Cause obviously I'm clueless, and despite being demonstrably intelligent, I just have no fucking chance of picking it all up on my own.
I have one rule for you. It took me years to figure it out, and months more to get used to it, but it works. Stop caring. If you get upset every time someone on an internet board gives you cyber-brass knuckles to the face, you aren't going to last long on the board. Either take this place with a great huge chunk of rock salt, or find a forum where people still care about whatever the forum was originally made for in the first place.
Why is that? Because when people don't have a common cause, they don't get along. Now, most of the folks here have something in common; they've all got college degrees in liberal arts. So if you post something old fashioned, expect to get jumped on like you walked into a Kenya nature preserve wearing a coat made of untreated skin. Blasted hippies!

Stats for the 'college' degrees please.
Spitter on 10/5/2006 at 12:40
