Hi Ascottk
I know youve been busy with the Darkmod, may i ask if there has been or will be any further dev work on this...?
many thanks
biker
I lost the source files when my hard drive crashed last year :( Besides, hardly anyone seems interested enough anyway.

When I click the download link, it opens an error page. Where can I download this file?

Old thread, I know, but this seems like the right place.
I've just installed T3 1.1 and John P's Texture pack, and then installed GarrAT0.6. In its installation process, when offered the choice of 'Default Installation' or 'Mod Support,' regardless of which option I pick there is no change in the readout below, it always says "No Modifications Installed (No texture packs or Minimalist, or overwrite any mods)" even when I've picked Mod Support. See screenshots:

http://img260.imageshack.us/img260/8053/garrat2.jpgIt appears as though it hasn't detected the already-installed John P pack. I went ahead with the installation - it seemed to work OK in the normal game but behaved very oddly in FM The Bridge, so I uninstalled it. Everything now seems back to normal, exept for one issue: my 'creep' is way too fast (almost full walking speed) but still silent, in both the normal game and FMs. I've checked my options.ini and default.ini and all values are as they should be for switched walk/run (as per the tweak guide). I'm not too bothered about fixing this as I play with a hybrid keyboard/analogue stick for my left hand, and analogue movement is still working fine.
All I really want from this tweak is the 'fixed' light gem when leaning, as shown in the screenshots at the top of the thread. Is it possible to implement this change on its own?
EDIT: Ok, looking at ascottk's code in post #27 above, I can see why it wasn't detecting John P's pack (it looks for a file called Uninstall_johnp* but the latest version of John P's pack uses a different filename). I bodged that by making a copy of the texture pack install/uninstaller and naming it Uninstall_JohnP.exe. Now the GarrAT installer detects John P's pack. But I'm actually getting
more problems now - crashes to desktop, which are new to me, and the various movement problems discussed in this thread. In fact now, I'm getting CTDs every time I try to load or start a new game in the original missions, whether GarrAT is installed or not, so I guess my installation is completely screwed (whether GarrAT caused this, or something else did, I don't know). I'm going to wipe it and start again with a fresh install. I'd still like to how to achieve
just the leaning-and-staying-in-shadow as shown in the screens, and nothing else.

OP person should put that darkfate link into their starter. I was near flabberghasted when I couldn't find a working link.

Sorry to thread necro, but does anyone know whether this ancient mod is compatible with the latest Sneaky Upgrade?
The thing is, I like the animation changes the Minimalist Project makes, but dislike what it does to the difficulty settings; I'm guessing this includes similar improvements to player animations and movement? I just can't stand the awkwardness of vanilla Deadly Shadows!

It should work for the original game, as long as you apply it after the (fat) SU - otherwise the modified Kernel_GFXALL.ibt will break things.
You'll probably also have to make sure any tweaks that might affect settings from T3PlayerAnims.ini are set to the default values. Those would be the head bob and black jack auto-raise tweaks, IIRC.
For T3 Gold you could try temporarily replacing the original Kernel_GFXALL.ibt with the one from the T3G mod folder before applying the patch. But from reading the above I'm almost sure the patcher won't work on third-party IBTs.
Thanks for bumping the thread, btw. I'll see if the changes made by this patch can be added to the SU in a T3G compatible way.
