So, I shall soon be packing up the PC and heading for a LAN party. Obviously my 5.1 speaker system wouldn't go down too well, so I need to pick up a set of headphones, and I'm here for some TTLG recommendations.
Things I'd like:
Full-size, to keep other noise out
Microphone
Sound quality not abysmal
Frankly, I'm not overly fussed about sound quality, since I'll only be using them on occasions like this, so I don't want to spend a huge amount of money, so I'm looking for recommendations along the lines of 'this is probably the best you'll get for £40-£50'.

While we're here can someone recommend some decent headphones for under $30 that aren't noise canceling? My hearing aid gets in the way of the padding. They have to be over-the-head, as well.

They do block out quite a bit of noise, but they do NOT have a microphone.
And you do not really want one. Headsets are a combination of shitty headphones with even shittier microphone. Get them separately.

Dude, I know that a cheapish headset isn't going to sound great, and I don't really care. I'm just after the 'if you're going to get something like that, you're probably best off getting THIS MODEL for the money' kind of recommendation.

There are so many types of headphones available in the market, there are exclusive headphones for gaming purpose. I think online stores are the best place to look for quality and discount gaming headphones. You will find lot of options to choose from, but make sure that you go through the reviews before buying.
