GameSpy have (another) DX2 related (
http://www.gamespy.com/interviews/september03/smith/) interview, this time with Project Director (Is that it?) Harvey Smith, aka witchboy. This one is also very interesting and is more reassuring than Warren's.
Amonst other things, it confirms that DX2 will in fact have a higher-resolution texture set for the PC version.

You try to lightly simulate crowd response and dynamics of different stadiums, things like that. Whereas Deus Ex tries this ambitious thing where it tries to take an entire city section or a headquarters of some organization and detail it down to what's in the desk drawers. If you're just talking about scope of what we try to simulate, yeah, we do the ambitious thing.
Damn I love Ambitious things, they usually tun out to be detailed w/an interesting
storyline i cant wait to get my hands on this game.
