It definitely has the coolest soundtrack. I didn't realise that was Master Boot Record on music duties; MBR's responsible for some of the best oldschool music remixes I've ever heard.

Yes, he had the temerity to slam a sawtooth-edged synth solo in there around halfway through. It's brilliant.
And we'd be remiss to not put VirtuaVerse's trailer with that music in here:

Yeah VirtuaVerse looks and sounds really cool. They were showing it off in the indie section but I didn’t play. Adventure games don’t feel like the kinda thing well suited for a short 15 min session.
Another thing I played this week but forgot to mention:
Rain of Reflections

Mix of adventure game, turn based stealth/combat, and a pretty neat hacking minigame. It’s also apparently got a quite maleable storyline. Chapter 1 comes out end of September.
Anyway,
Day 3: Enough already
Everyone’s kinda had their fill of gamescom by now. Walked around a bit. Played some stuff, but nothing especially memorable. Went in to the Old town in the evening, had a schnitzel. Sneezed aloud in public and got a ”gesundheit”, so I pretty much feel like I’ve gotten all I wanted out of Germany.
