Ok I fixed the previous problem but now the game is really jerky for some reason , so much that I can't play it. What should I do?

Have you patched the game to v1.17?
Was it jerky like this when you had the problem with the invisible text? If not, have you changed anything at all since then? (e.g. turned up the detail levels now that you can see the menus :)
What are the specs of your PC?
It's really hard to help when you provide so little information.

Im back after a long time and I have the problem again. I do use version 1.17 and it still does it

You could try the recent v1.18 just in case that helps (although I'm a bit doubtful, and some have reported that v1.17 worked better for them).
You still haven't mentioned your system specs. Do you meet the recommended specs for the game? Have you tried lower detail levels? We just don't know.
I say again:

I don't recommend patching to 1.18. It decreases performance of the game significantly.
