I've got a GeForce 5200 FX video card and DirectX 9.0c. I can't play Arx because all interactive objects-- NPCs, the PC, stones, inventory items, creatures, etc -- are completely invisible. This also seems to effect the game in other ways; for example I cannot select an object, such as a door, that's invisible, although I do collide with it.
I've tried several different drivers but the problem remains right down to the lowest version that will work with 9.0c and my video card.
Has anyone else had this problem? Know how it might be fixed?

The sticky refers to opaque textures... very different to completely invisible objects... but I'll try the fix anyway for the hell of it :)

No, I'm afraid that didn't change a thing. Thanks anyway...
Edit: Oh, good news -- Forceware 61.77 doesn't seem to have the same problem. Joy

Right you are; my apologies. With your problem in mind, I managed to mis-interpret "missing textures" as being relevant.
I'm glad to hear that the new (old?) drivers solved the problem!!
