43 is one of my favourites, Dragon's Dogma, and I think even more specifically, it's Dark Arisen.
There wasn't a Beholder in the base game.

Well, you did leave in the
souls counter - but more than anything else, the shield gave it away immediately.

It's the Gazer boss from the first third of Bitterblack Isle (the DA area). While it has a massive health bar, I don't remember it ever causing me as many issues as some of the other enemies in that section of the island.

DD2 was included in that (

There was also another leak that said it's coming in April next year but that one's less convincing. The fact that they bothered to make a Netflix show after all this time makes it more believable that it's finally actually happening.
