Game Jurnos/Sites/LPs specific to PC, story-driven FP-RPG/adventure/detective games? - by Yakoob

I'm compiling a list of journalists to contact about our upcoming game "Karaski: What Goes Up..." and I could use a bit of help from fellow TTLG minds! I already got a bunch, but you guys probably read more outlets than me.
Karaski is a nonlinear, story-driven detective FP-RPG set on a 1920s Slavic Airship that is being actively sabotaged, and you are one of the suspects. I'm looking for journalists who enjoy similar titles (Gone Home, LA Noire, Deus Ex, Consortium, Walking Dead, The Novelist, To The Moon, etc) and focuses on single-player PC indies. Don't want to waste time of those who aren't interested.
So if any of you know or have favorite writers/bloggers/youtubers who might be interested please let me know! Thanks :)

(

Yeah, those sorts of guys who do regular new indie game features are a decent shout. Jessie Cox and Jim Sterling are some. Dodger also plays endless long series of text adventures and life sims and the like. They're mostly Anime these days, but I think that's a niche she kinda fell into as they're the most common examples of those sorts of games lately and there's a built in audience for all things anime.
This guy Splattercat did a fearlessly leisurely play of Sunless Sea and has a decent number of subs.
I've run into a few others which I'll add if I remember them.

I don't do a lot of LPs, but if your game is out by the end of the month I could try and do a playthrough on my channel. Disclaimer: I have <100 subs, so you won't be getting too much coverage.
You could also contact the bigger YouTubers (Pewdiepie, Markiplier, etc), they play a lot of indie games.

The main issue with them is that a large majority of their viewers come for the person (or the persona being portrayed) and not the games being played.

Why they watch isn't important - what they see when they watch is.

The thing is, they don't shift a fraction of the sales that people with a more focused viewer base do. At least not for more niche type stuff like story driven games.
Probably because most of their viewer base is not interested in what the actual games being played are. To them the game is just background noise or a setup for a joke.

"Jurnos"? Really?
I'd assume it was a typo if you hadn't used the exact same spelling on every other site you spammed with this question.

On that note, you gotta admit, ZylonBane is the perfect guy to get to do your QA on the English localisation.
