Seeing as I never get an activation email from the official Eidos forums, I thought i'd ask here.

I've played through this game several times, but this time I decided to play it without killing anyone, and so far so good, but now i'm at the level right after I go back to the NSF warehouse to send the signal, but when I return to the apartment, Paul Denton is no where to be found. UNATCO and MiB are there (and they are invincible, 10 LAM's and 5 GEP rockets to the face didn't even make them flinch), but no Paul, so I can not complete the mission.

I can't seem to find anyone else who has had this problem, and I really don't want to restart the game since it's taken me a good deal of time playing stealth and exploring to get to this point...Is there any way I can reset the level or something but keep all my items? I know I can just open the level again using cheats, but I lose all my items/credits/skill/augs...

Actually, this a known bug, but I forget exactly what causes it. Something about closing a certain door earlier in the game, I think. Anyway, you can fix this by enabling cheats and summoning Paul with (I think) "summon PaulDenton".

Edit: Oh, and you might need to (http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=28509) pick up his chair after summoning him to make him talk to you. :joke:

Edit 2: After a bit more googling, there's another fix of last resort for this. If Paul still won't start his conversation with you even after screwing around with his chair (try destroying it, too), then:

1) Use the 'legend' command -- once again, you'll need cheats enabled for this
2) From there, set TalkedToPaulAfterMessage_Played to TRUE.

^ Be warned that this will initiate the MIB raid, so be ready for their attack before you do it. Paul may not react to them until he's taken some damage from them, so you might want to use him as a human shield for a while....
