I'm impressed. You didn't even need a breather between pointing at the horror of dead children on one side and justifying the same fate for children on the other side.
I was pointing to the difference in the reason behind the deaths you twit. If you've got something relevant to add, feel free, but don't try to be cute and clever by putting words in my mouth. The only thing you've done is further convince everyone of your illiteracy.
I didn't justify the deaths of any children - I said it was unforgivable at best. The fact that Israeli children are killed ON PURPOSE most times speaks volumes about those who do the killing. Collateral damage is horrible but unavoidable. Israel *usually* gives forewarning when they retaliate, and at the very least, any idiot sitting in Gaza should know what's coming down the pike after such a rocket attack. The difference in circumstances between that, and sniping kids on a playground is so obvious and stark that I cannot fathom how you don't see it for yourself in the first place.

I don't think the children care for the reasons.
And I very much doubt it would help an objective view on this war if I went down there and lived there. I would just get caught up in the same shitstorm like everyone else who is already there. So cut us stupid westerners some slack, we're not the ones shooting at children.
fett on 8/1/2009 at 02:21
Of that, I'm entirely convinced.

I like how nobody bothers to point out the disparity of Israel being intensely scrutinized and criticized for every action and yet nobody cares whenever someone suicide bombs an Israeli nightclub.
Israel warns in advance when they're going to strike just to give civilians a chance to get out. What fucking military does that?
And while nobody here has said it, I know a few folks who like to call Israelis Nazis at every chance, as if that somehow weren't completely asinine and downright offensive.

Oh stop. I changed the word 'moron' to 'twit'. I felt it was more accurate.
Besides, you're posting so fast, I can't even proof my response before you post again.
I doubt it's even worth pointing out that you've still failed to say anything relevant, accurate, or otherwise worthwhile since we began this exchange. Got anything besides psuedo-witty jabs or infantile accusations that I'm somehow editing my posts (for what reason I have no idea)?
We're all waiting, kiddo. Wow us.
dethtoll - you're spot on. Israel does some really stupid and questionable things, but I can say this for their military - they have more mercy on their enemies than any other modern civilized country I can think of.

I'd suggest talking to some Palestinians.

Well war is hell and all.
...and fett is winning
Tocky on 8/1/2009 at 03:27
You might want to wait a while on that hoss. Fett is safer where he is.
On the other hand can you imagine the restraint the Palestinians would use were the roles reversed? Me neither.
Dangit SlyFoxx you got your chocolate in my peanutbutter.

I REALLY didn't mean to.:eww:
