Thank you for reminding me. I almost forgot to check it out. :D

Have they already started showing it? I have to admit that I've been avoiding the films they did, mainly because I thought the series ended on a perfect episode, and I don't want to get to the point where I think that they should've ended there because nothing lived up to "The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings".

The films were awful. But, I can't wait to watch the new episodes.
...though I'll have to wait for DVD, don't have cabl...or satalitz....

The first new episodes aired last night.

I swear I heard Bender's voice when I read that. So you.
I watched it. Good as always. Makes you not care about stories making sense it being a cartoon. I miss TV shows like that. Forget reality.

Are the new episodes as good as the old series (e.g. better than the mostly poor films)?
I always liked Futurama far more than, say, The Simpsons, because its episodes felt deeper and more meaningful somehow.
Of course, I can't get that channel here, so I can't tune in. Maybe I can watch it online somewhere.

While this is true, I also got bored of the endless boring climactic "action sequences" that every third episode of so succumbed to, and it wasn't as easy to drop in any old time and watch like
The Simpsons. Although that's a backhanded compliment, of course.
I loved the 80s guy episode, but beyond that and "Jurassic Bark" I struggle to recall a single episode.

That's actually part of the reason I liked it - I like shows with continuity.

What.
