In the hotel in Morocco. You hear it on the stairs from ground floor to first floor, just after you pass the woman who complains about the vending machine or the phone ("It took my change!").

It took me ages to find thestairs one, you have to get to the point on the stairs without having made loud noises with all the guys in the way.

I didn't know there actually can be trouble finding it .. I just play the game Thief style (as I'm playing every FPS thief style by now), and I was sufficiently silent. Hm. It's worth it, definitely. ;)

Yes, but getting into the hotel is EXTREMELY difficult to do Thief-style considering how quirky the game engine is. But hearing that conversation is worth it.

Getting inside is the easy part. Getting to the stairs isn't.
As for hearing both conversations, it is easy enough. I think if you close the gates, the Monkey man won't see you KO the first guard, but I think you could let the conversation play out by hiding somewhere and let the first guard move after the monkey conversation. Either way, I think it is possible.
